What needs to be done by when in order to get the CHP support?
It is particularly important to apply to the BAFA for funding before the starting a project. If this is ignored, a at an early start of the project in could result in the project being excluded from mini-CHP support.
After examination of the application by the executive authority (BAFA Eschborn), a grant decision is sent directly to the applicant. Within 9 months of application, the mini-CHP plant must be put into operation (see time horizon). After commissioning, the applicant has 2 months to submit the necessary documents of proof of use.
The disbursement of the funding is normally around 3 weeks after submission of proof of use, provided that all necessary documentation has been made available and the application is filled out correctly.
